Un misionero en Disney World...

Day: the last cool one

Buenos dias a todos! This was another pretty average week here. Unfortunately it's getting harder and harder to make these things interesting. But here we go. Highlights:

- Last pday we went golfing with Elders Cederholm and Pugmire... and we won, which means we got free taco bell 

- On Tuesday I went on an exchange with Elder Brady in Lancaster. He bought me a costco hotdog so he's pretty much my favorite person ever now

- The next day we picked up our new companero Elder Ricks  He's super cool, and I'm loving being able to speak spanish with him

- We planned our MLC training in record time... only an hour 

- We read through 1 Nephi 1 with one of our friends and she loved it. It's a great chapter if you've somehow never read it

- At institute they announced a marriage and family class... that got me looks from both of my comps and our ward mission leaders 

- I called a guy in Michoacan on Facebook and we ended up having a 20 minute video call and I sent his info over to the missionaries down there. Pretty cool 

- MLC went an hour and a half long  but it was one of the best ones I've been to sooo

- We had an awesome lesson with a recent convert and returning member. It was cool to see them in such different places but both learning together

- We went to the temple! Super fun and super tiring. I got to call my hermanito for his birthday while we were eating lunch

- We went by Nathaniel and when his family found out that we hadn't eaten they went out and bought a bunch of food for us 

- I got invited to Disney World with a member's daughter... very awkward conversation

I hit these classic verses in our speed read of the Book of Mormon and figured I'd share them. I just love how clear they are about Christ's mission and what he went through for us :)

11 And he shall go forth, suffering pains and afflictions and temptations of every kind; and this that the word might be fulfilled which saith he will take upon him the pains and the sicknesses of his people.

12 And he will take upon him death, that he may loose the bands of death which bind his people; and he will take upon him their infirmities, that his bowels may be filled with mercy, according to the flesh, that he may know according to the flesh how to succor his people according to their infirmities.

13 Now the Spirit knoweth all things; nevertheless the Son of God suffereth according to the flesh that he might take upon him the sins of his people, that he might blot out their transgressions according to the power of his deliverance; and now behold, this is the testimony which is in me.
