Day: another one where it feels like spring already
Pushup Count: 256
Hola mi gente! Just kind of another average, boring week, but I'll try to make it readable.
- Yeah so I totally got too friendly with the other elder's car and gave it a nice long scratch with our car

- Elder Purcell came to my area on exchanges and we had a blast... A random English member in the calle gave us burger King gift cards so we got the little crowns

- We went to get Elder Dewey covid and flu tested and I ended up sitting in a waiting room alone for over an hour
- Elder Dewey decided to start counting his macros even though he still doesn't know what a macro is...
- I made frijoles colados that were super ricos
- The elders we live with went on exchanges so we partied with Elder Silva
- We bought cards and corn chips and partied... Just kidding we just played hearts for like thirty minutes but that's a party as a missionary
- A member bought us Chick-fil-A for lunch on Saturday
- We crashed a baby shower
- I ate the spiciest, most Mexican burger I've had so far
- We had four lessons fall through yesterday, but we had two dinners so it's all good
- I learned a ton of Mexican slang
- Our internet just completely stopped working so we got to just use one phone and navigate without Google maps :)
- We went to a referral's house and met three people who ended up coming to church a few days later, without us really even teaching anything
(still haven't met the actual referral tho
)
(still haven't met the actual referral tho
) Yep, boring. Butttt that's okay cause we're doing the Lord's work and we're enjoying it

Spiritual Thought:
"Brothers and sisters, dear friends, let us not wait too long on our road to Damascus. Instead, let us courageously move forward in faith, hope, and charity, and we will be blessed with the light we are all seeking upon the path of true discipleship." - President Dieter F. Uchtdorf.
If you haven't heard his talk, "Waiting on the Road to Damascus", go listen to it, cause it's pretty lit

Les amo tanto,

I dropped off Elder Ireland and picked up Elder Dewey, who is an absolute legend. He has over 18 months in the mission and this is his first transfer back after a couple months of surgery recovery. During that time he worked as a service missionary translating all day, so his Spanish is insane. He's super cool and we're gonna do some good work this transfer
