Day: 1 day post baptism
Pushup Count: 151
Hola everyone! I journaled once this week and it was yesterday so let's see what I can remember... Highlights:
- Last pday I made posole and then we had to coordinate an emergency transfer :(
- I went on an exchange to Quartz Hill where we met a really cool 82 year old with a hot rod. We also had a long lesson with a very stubborn Christian and made tacos

- We helped some members move their food storage and furniture
- I went to La Cresta with Elder Stubbs and spoke a ton of Spanish. I got atomic wings from Wingstop and we discussed conspiracy theories as my face melted off

- We taught a lesson to a member's girlfriend and she said our message wasn't long enough

- One of our friends accepted the word of wisdom without question so that was fun

- I picked up a keyboard and started practicing for a duet with Elder Alchibald

- We got Panda

- I had an exchange with Elder Durkin
We ran to the park and played on the playground
We ran to the park and played on the playground- Yesterday our friend Ryan was baptized! I was able to perform the confirmation and it was a very special experience :)
I sincerely apologize for the lack of content this week but I hope you will forgive me. Let me know if you did anything interesting!
Spiritual thought:
A couple of cool paragraphs from a talk by Neil A. Maxwell:
"Consecration involves pressing forward “with a steadfastness in Christ” with a “brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men … [while] feasting upon the word of Christ” (2 Ne. 31:20). Jesus pressed forward sublimely. He did not shrink, such as by going only 60 percent of the distance toward the full atonement. Instead, He “finished [His] preparations” for all mankind, bringing a universal resurrection—not one in which 40 percent of us would have been left out (see D&C 19:18–19).
Each of us might well ask, “In what ways am I shrinking or holding back?” Meek introspection may yield some bold insights! For example, we can tell much by what we have already willingly discarded along the pathway of discipleship. It is the only pathway where littering is permissible, even encouraged. In the early stages, the debris left behind includes the grosser sins of commission. Later debris differs; things begin to be discarded which have caused the misuse or underuse of our time and talent."
Mucho amor,
