Day: a pleasant spring day
Pushup Count: 181
Buenas tardes a todos! How's it going? There's not much craziness to report this week so I'll just jump right into it. Highlights:
- District council in North Edwards! It was crazy to drive back out to the nothingness where I started my mission
- We went to Winchell's and I folded hard... But the old fashioned donuts are sooo good

- I went on exchanges with Elder Byington. He's awesome, and we're both going to USU after the mission so we had a blast
- We got jumped by a raccon... Not really but he did scare the heck out of us

- We had a lesson with Mauricio! It was so good to see him after so long. He's struggling a lot right now so please pray for him
- We picked up new mission vehicles
the RAVs that I drove each only had 7 miles on them
the RAVs that I drove each only had 7 miles on them
- At institute we had a guest speaker who was super cool. He worked in the white house and was the government liason who got the extermination order ended in the 70s

- I went back to Esperanza on exchanges with Elders Davis and Bennet. We had such a good time, and we got to teach my favorite rc ever, Alfredo. He kept telling us that he could get all the girls he could ever want but he doesn't because they're all crazy

- On that exchanges they made/let me teach English class all by myself with no plan. I got to talk to a Columbian named Leo that had very little English experience. It was one of the most fun and touching moments of my mission :)
- We went straight from Palmdale to Valencia and I started my exchange with Elder Brady. We had a good time, and he bought me Chick-fil-A

- We had a lesson with this dude named Eddie who brought two of his valley baptist friends and they just bashed us for an hour before we got out

- But then we had two other awesome lessons and that made up for it... And we got panda too :)
Pretty average week here. I'm excited to get our new companion this week and then have transfers the next. It's gonna be awesomeness

Spiritual Thought:
From the guest speaker on Wednesday: "You have to have two testimonies. You have to know that the gospel is true, and you have to know that the gospel works". Both testimonies are vital to our spiritual survivial.
Mucho amor,
