Day: a super foggy one
Pushup Count: 235
This week kind of flew by, and I'm not really sure if anything interesting happened. I guess we'll find out together. Highlights:
- We played volleyball again

- I went on an exchange with Elder Evans and it was awesome. It was raining the whole time but we taught a really good lesson and he taught me a ton of stuff
- We made our own pre-Thanksgiving ham and mashed potatoes. The ham ended up a little cold but the papas were super good

- We had Thanksgiving dinner with the Cooley family. They're awesome, they fed 12 missionaries that day
They made us super good food and Brother Cooley entertained us with crazy stories from his mission in Hungary
They made us super good food and Brother Cooley entertained us with crazy stories from his mission in Hungary- I went on exchanges with Elder Jensen from Ridgecrest and we had a good time talking as I cut his hair
- We went to the mall on black friday. Do not recommend for any reason except to try and talk to a lot of people about Jesus

- I had a really cool experience where some guy on the street asked us to quote John 1:1 and it came tumbling out of my mouth as if I knew it like the back of my hand. I'd never memorized it before so thank you Holy Ghost :)
- Bakersfield had the #1 worst air quality in the united states for two days in a row
it was pretty gross
it was pretty gross- We were searching through an old list of young single adults and we ran into a guy who's now no longer single, but we taught him and his wife a super powerful lesson on families and prayer and they accepted us sending over other missionaries

- Our friend Ryan was asking us about priesthood keys and temple ordinances... Sometimes I wonder if he knows more than us
he's talking about baptism in January so pray that that happens
he's talking about baptism in January so pray that that happens- We had subway sandwiches after church yesterday that were to die for... I guess anything is to die for after fasting but they were really good
- I finished a little puzzle of the Salt Lake Temple

- We sat down with a Muslim man for the first time in my mission. He was one of the nicest people ever, let us right in, offered us tea and water, and then we discussed religion for a few minutes. He told us that being Muslim would be too hard for us and I kinda believed him haha. Tons of respect for him, I felt very loved as we left
So yeah, not too crazy this time around. Sorry if you were expecting crazy stories. I hope you all had a good Thanksgiving and that you have good plans for Christmas

Spiritual Thought:
I was thinking a lot about the Holy Ghost this week and how it testifies of truth. 3 Nephi 28:11 says how he testifies of the Father and the Son. I know that's true. There's nothing like the feeling of the Holy Ghost when we as missionaries testify of Christ. And you all can feel that too whenever you share your testimony :)
Mucho amor,
